Circles of Care with Christ at the Center
Pilgrim's ChristCare small-group ministry will soon enter its ninth year! God has richly blessed this ministry by providing a loving and caring place where members can develop new friendships, grow spiritually, and learn to share Jesus' love with others.
In September, as church and school activities begin again in earnest, our ChristCare groups will also start to meet again. If you've thought about joining but maybe the time hasn't been right, fall is the perfect time to set priorities for the year and make a decision to come and see what it's all about. Before sessions actually begin, please watch for the ChristCare Kick-off where you'll be able to meet members and leaders and learn what each of the groups will be offering this year.
ChristCare is a unique opportunity for fellowships and spiritual growth. You won't want to miss it!
ChristCare groups are for:
- developing a closer relationships with Jesus Christ
- developing a deeper bond with current congregation members
- to connect with new congregation members
- reach out to those without a church home
Pilgrim ChristCare groups are gatherings of 4 to 12 people who meet two or more times a month for about 90 minutes each time. These small group meetings take place at a variety of places; some in the church and others in members homes throughout the community. During these meetings members develop a close bond with fellow members in the groups as well as a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Studies also vary from group to group with some watching Biblically based videos while others may be having in-depth Bible studies or "book club" format reading books based on Christian beliefs or prominent people in the Bible.
ChristCare groups are led by trained members of the congregation who have taken classes in leadership, facilitating a Bible study, and encouraging the development of strong relationships.

The purpose of our small groups is to care for one another as Christ cares for us.
